Trong 4 năm rưỡi FB vừa qua tôi luôn khẳng định: Tôi tham dự vào tiến trình hoà giải dân tộc, chứ không phải chống chế độ hiện hành. Hoà giải là làm sáng tỏ cuộc chiến tranh đỏ – vàng 1945-1954-1975, “không phủ nhận quá khứ” bên đỏ và “không phủ nhận quá khứ” cả bên vàng, làm sâu thêm dukkha (khổ đế) của Đạo Bụt, nhu cầu tâm linh…

Nói rõ hơn, cuộc chiến tranh đỏ – vàng 30 năm ấy là chiến tranh chống ngoại xâm hai Khối (Nhật, Pháp, Mỹ và Nga Xô, Trung Quốc…) đồng thời là nội chiến giữa người Việt Nam với người Việt Nam, và cũng chính là cuộc chiến tranh ý thức hệ (kinh tế, triết học… mà nổi bật là tôn giáo và vô tôn giáo — hữu thần và vô thần —, cụ thể là nhu cầu tâm linh và ý thức tiến hoá luận…).
